Admin: Product Admin: Product Grouping Definition Admin
This is where you build out the categories in your Product Grouping Tree. Just click add and enter in all your various product groups/segments. In this example the manufacturer's products all fall under these Major Groupings.
You can build out sub groupings as well. In this example the manufacturer has sub groupings under the Dessert grouping (Chocolate, Ice Cream, and Ice Cream Shop). These are also added in the Product Grouping Definition section.
On the right hand side you then build out the Product Grouping Hierarchy. In this example we'll drag the three sub groupings mentioned above into the Dessert grouping. Just left click and hold down the click and drag the grouping into any other grouping to build the actual hierarchy.
Here is the end result.
You can build out as many levels of Product Grouping tree as you like. Don't forget to click Save!
Admin: Product Admin: Product Grouping Association Admin
To add Products to the Product Groupings previously defined, navigate to the Product Grouping Association Admin screen. The grid will display all products not yet associated to a Product Grouping.
To add a product, select the product and drag it to the appropriate place in the hierarchy. In the example below, Corn Flakes is being dragged to the Breakfast - Boxed grouping.
Click Save after making updates!
