Client Letter Admin

GoSimple comes with several standard letters you can use throughout the industry to let your partners know what the actual agreement details are. This allows you to send out a standard legal document versus each sales person doing it their own way.

There is a toggle in the letter admin screen where you can filter on active letters only.

The default is Show Active Letters

Each letter allows you to edit it so it has your verbiage and legalese on it. There is also an option to create new letters to assign to specific templates.

There are 5 types of letters:

To edit an existing letter, select a letter to edit. Then click the Edit button.

To create a new letter, click the New button.

Check the Active box, enter in a Letter Name and select a Letter Type from the drop down.

Now you'll see the areas you can enter your own verbiage. Just enter in the text to appear on the letter. If you don't use them all, no problem. Just leave it blank. The areas to enter text on the letters are a rich-text format. This allows highlighting, font size and type, bullet points and even images to be added to the letters.

If the Enable Additional Verbiage Prompt is selected, users downloading the letter will have an option to enter additional text to appear on the letter. This can be enabled/disabled for each section individually.

There is also an option to hide sections of the letter. To hide an entire section of the letter, check the Hide Section box. (If text is entered and the Hide Section box is checked, that text will not display on the letter.)

Additionally, specific columns can be hidden in the Product, Lumpsum and Distributor grids on the letters. To hide a column, check the box in the Hide Columns section.

In this example, the Distributor Address will not display on the letters since the column is hidden.

Click Save after making changes.

Pictures can be added to Contract Letters

The ability to add pictures to the letters was added back in so you can add your exclusion lists to the contract letters.

There are limitations on the size of the pictures so try it, then run a letter to check to make sure the picture fits within the letter parameters.
