claim_view

This is an old revision of the document!

To view a Claim, click on the Claim ID hyperlink. The Header is broken out into the Claim and Invoice sections.

Claim Header

This section displays the Claim ID, Claimant Name, Contract information, Deduction Number(s), Amount Requested, Amount Allowed, Amount Recalculated, Claim State, Claim State Reasons and Contract Hint.

Claimant Name and Contractee Name - click the hyperlink to view the Company Information.

Contract Names - This field displays the Contract Name. In the instance that lines on the claim resolve to different versions of a Contract, and the Contract Names are different on those versions, this dropdown will display the additional Contract Names.

If the Claim is Pended or on Hold at the header-level, the Claim State Reasons field will display a hyperlink of the pend reason. If the Claim State is Pended due to line items pending, see the line items for the Pend details.

The Contract Hint displays a reference to the Contract Name given on the invoice.

The Deduction Number field displays the Deduction Number to which the Claim was matched. If there are multiple deductions assigned to the claim, click the dropdown to view the additional Deduction Numbers.

Invoice Info

This section displays information captured from the invoice. The Invoice Number, Invoice Date, Start and End Dates and Amount Requested are from the invoice.

The Invoice ID is a GoSimple assigned ID.

The Deduction Number Hint displays the DOT Invoice Number or the Client's Deduction Number.

The Details section displays a count of claims for the invoice. (Future Implementation will display the related claims.)

Below the Claim and Invoice Information there are several tabs which display detailed claim information: Products, Lumpsums, Payment Configuration, Transactions, Deductions, Notes & Attachments, History and Letters.

Products

This displays the products on the claim and includes Product Number, Product Name, Distributor Name, Distributor Number, Rebate UOM, Direct Rate, Growth Rate, Date, Calculated Rate, Requested Quantity, Requested Rate, Requested Total, Allowed Quantity, Allowed Rate, Allowed Total, Reason Type and Reason Codes.

If the value displayed in the UI is an approximate value, the symbol “~” will display. Hover over the value displayed to see the exact value.

There are totals at the bottom of the grid for the Requested Quantity, Requested Total and Allowed Total.

Product Rate Calculation

On a claim product row, there is a Calculated Rate column which displays the rate calculated for the product. There are several ways to calculate a rate: using default pricing, sales data, or price lists by product or company product. The Price column will display the price for the product and the Price Tier will display which method was used. These fields can be used to validate the calculated rate for the product.

In the screenshot below, the first row is set up on the contract as fixed price with a deviated value of $12.50. This used the List - which is Price List by Product - to determine the Price of $15.00. This results in a Calculated Rate of $2.50.

Price Tier Definitions:

List - Price by Product

Company - Price by Company and Product

Sale - Sales Data

Default - Default Pricing

To export the Products, click the Export Products button.
