Broker Distributor Assignment

Users with access can assign distributors to brokers in the Broker Distributor Assignment screen.

Initially, this grid will display all Distributors (both Active and Inactive). To add, modify, or view history for a distributor and broker relationship, click the Edit button.

To add a new Broker, highlight the distributor row and click Edit.

This will open the Broker Distributor Editor. Click Add Broker to select the broker.

Select a broker from the list by double-clicking the row. Filters exist on each column to help find the broker.

Once a broker is selected, enter in the dates for the broker distributor relationship. Either type in the date or select the dates using the calendar controls.

Dates have the following criteria.

• The start and end dates are required.
• There can't be a date gap between the end date of one record and the start date of another record.
• Date ranges cannot overlap.

After entering all data, click Save.

The Broker and Dates will display in the grid if there is a date range that contains the current date.
