Evaluation: Contracts in an Evaluation state have been submitted by the contract creator and are ready to be Sub-approved or Approved by the user above them as defined by the Contract Approval Hierarchy. Contracts in an Evaluation state are non-claimable.
Approved: The Contract has been Approved by the final approver. The contract will move to an Active state if the current date is within the contract start and end dates, or will move to an Expired state if it is after the contract end date. A contract in this state is claimable.
Active: The Contract is active and claimable and the current date is within the contract start and end dates.
Amended: The Contract has been Amended so this version of the contract is no longer Active. A contract in this state is non-claimable.
Expired: A Contract is Expired if it is after the contract end date. The contract is still claimable.
Terminated: A Contract can be Terminated when the contract is in an Active or Expired status. The Terminate action is available only to users who are both a Finalizer and are part of the Contract Approval Hierarchy for that contract. Once a contract is Terminated, no new claims can be created against the contract.
Cancelled: A Contract in a Draft or Evaluation state can be Cancelled by either the Contract Creator or Approver of the contract. A contract in a Cancelled state was never claimable.
