**__Deduction State Definitions__** ----- **Deduction Active State** OPEN: The deduction was received on the open deduction file from the client. IGNORE: Deductions are manually set to this state for deductions that GoSimple will not work or receive claims. CLOSED: The deduction is no longer on the open deduction file from the client. ----- **Deduction State** OPEN: No claims are matched to the deduction. MATCHED: There is at least one claim matched to the deduction, but the claim amount does not equal the open deduction amount. Additional claims need to be matched to this deduction. BALANCED: The claims matched to the deduction balance to the open deduction amount, but not all claims are in a complete state. COMPLETE: The claims matched to the deduction all have claim state of complete, but the claim total does not match the open deduction amount. CLEARED: All claims matched to the deduction have a claim state of complete. The full open deduction amount is equal to the total of all the assigned claims allowed amounts, and the claims were completed with transaction type of deduction. IGNORE: Deductions are manually set to this state for deductions that GoSimple will not work or receive claims. CLOSED: The deduction is no longer on the open deduction file from the client. INVALID: This deduction is in an error state - please contact GoSimple if a deduction is in this state. ----- **Deduction Balance Allowed State** OPEN: No claims are matched to the deduction. PARTIAL: The claims matched to the deduction have a claim state of complete, but were not allowed in full. These amounts are re-billable. CLEARED: The claims matched to the deduction are allowed in full against the deduction. The deduction can be cleared in full by the client. ----- **Deduction Reliability State** RELIABLE: All claims matched to the deduction have a claim state of complete. UNRELIABLE: Not all claims matched to the deduction have a claim state of complete.
