**__Contract Comparison Report__**

The Contract Comparison Report provides comprehensive analysis capabilities for identifying differences between two contract versions, enabling stakeholders to review modifications, updates, and variations in contractual terms and conditions.

__Report Execution Process__

**Contract Selection:**

  * Selection Method: Utilize checkbox functionality to designate the two contracts for comparative analysis
  * Report Generation: Execute comparison report to generate detailed variance documentation

__System Requirements and Constraints__

**Contract Sequence Compatibility:**

  * Prerequisite: Both selected contracts must share identical contract sequence numbers (numerical identifiers preceding the "R" and "A" designations)
  * Version Control: This requirement ensures comparison occurs between related contract versions within the same contract family
  * System Logic: Matching sequence numbers enable proper data mapping and accurate variance identification

**Change Management:**

  * Version Control: Track modifications between contract iterations
  * Audit Trail: Maintain comprehensive documentation of contractual changes
  * Stakeholder Communication: Provide clear visibility into contract evolution and updates

Then click the Compare button at the bottom left of the grid.

Note: Only exactly 2 boxes can be checked to run the report.

After clicking Compare, the Report Runner will display.  Select the Export Type.  The Old Contract ID and New Contract ID display the contract versions of the contracts which were selected.  The order these are displayed in the report can be changed by selecting the Swap button.  Click the Export button to generate the report.

__Header Information Section__

**Contract Overview Display:**

  * Primary Location: Top section of the comparative analysis report
  * Content: Administrative and identifying information for both selected contract versions
  * Purpose: Provides immediate context and verification of contracts under comparison

__Detailed Variance Analysis Sections__

The report presents comprehensive comparative analysis across multiple contractual components:

**SKU-Based Pricing Analysis:**

  * Function: Line-by-line comparison of individual product pricing structures
  * Coverage: Product-specific rates, terms, and pricing methodologies

**Group-Based Pricing Analysis:**

  * Function: Comparative review of product grouping pricing configurations
  * Coverage: Grouping structures, collective pricing arrangements, and tier-based pricing models

**LumpSum Configuration Comparison:**

  * Function: Analysis of fixed payment structures and arrangements
  * Coverage: LumpSum amounts, terms, conditions, and payment schedules

**Eligible Distributors Assessment:**

  * Function: Comparison of authorized distribution networks and partnerships
  * Coverage: Distributor additions, removals, and authorization modifications

**Client Defined Fields Evaluation:**

  * Function: Analysis of custom field configurations and values
  * Coverage: Client-specific parameters, custom attributes, and specialized requirements

__Change Documentation and Legend__

**Report Key and Legend:**

  * Location: Bottom section of the comparative analysis report
  * Function: Comprehensive explanation of change indicators and modification types
  * Change Categories:
  *   * Additions: New elements introduced in the updated contract version
  *   * Removals: Components eliminated from the previous contract version
  *   * Modifications: Existing elements with altered values, terms, or configurations

The Contract Comparison Report can also be run from a Contract.  Select the search button located in the Basic Info section of the contract header.

This will open a popup displaying all versions and renewals for the contract family.  The claimable column defaults to True, but False records can also be displayed.  Select the checkboxes for the contracts to compare and click the Compare button at the bottom of the popup to generate the report.

A comprehensive Contract History tab has been implemented to provide detailed audit trail capabilities for contract modifications, addressing specific client requirements for enhanced change tracking and accountability.

**Change Tracking Scope**- The Contract History feature currently monitors and documents modifications across three primary contract areas:
  * Contract Header: Administrative and general contract information changes
  * Products Tab: Product-specific modifications and updates
  * Lumpsum Tab: Fixed payment and lumpsum arrangement changes

**Audit Trail Benefits**
  * Transparency: Complete visibility into contract modification history
