__**Claim Draft**__


Access the Claim Draft grid from the Claim menu.

This grid displays all claims in a draft status.  This includes claims loaded via eclaim and claims manually entered.

To process these claims, click the Invoice ID hyperlink.  This will open the invoice view with all claims associated to that invoice displayed in a grid below.  If all the information is correct on the invoice and claims, click the Submit button.

The claims will then be in a Submitted status.  Open each claim on the invoice by clicking the Claim ID hyperlink.  Resolve any pending issues - see [[pended_claims_resolution|]] - and Verify the claim.

__Multi Claim Contract Assign__

Users with permissions also have the option to assign many claims to a single contract in the draft claims grid. This can be done by selecting the claim rows using the [ctrl + click] to select individual claim rows or [shift + click] to select a group of rows.  Once all the rows are selected, click the Link to Contract button.

This will return a message displaying the claim IDs and the contract which were affected.

The draft grid will reload with the updated contract information displaying in the Contract ID and Contract Name columns.
