 __**Contract Approval Grouping**__

+The Contract Approval Grouping is broken out into two screens:
+**The Contract Approval Grouping Definition Admin is where the Groupings are defined and organized into a contract approval grouping hierarchy.  This is where folders can be organized into hierarchies.  The Approval Groupings Defined here can be added to any Template.**
+**The Contract Approval Grouping Association Admin is where the Users will be added to the previously defined Approval Groupings.**

+__**Contract Approval Grouping Definition Admin**__
+This is where the contract approval groups are defined.  To add a new row, click Add and enter in the Grouping Description, Grouping CD, select an Approval Role and set Active/Inactive indicator.  The Approval Role options are Finalizer, Intermediary and Submitter.

+To edit an existing definition or to change Active/Inactive status, click on the row and the editor will open.  Make the updates needed and click Save.  Click Cancel to revert changes.  Clicking the X on the top right will close the editor window.

+To update the approval grouping hierarchy, select a row and drag it to the hierarchy location within the grid.  These changes are automatically saved.

+__**Contract Approval Grouping Association Admin**__
+To add users to the Approval Groupings previously defined, navigate to the Contract Approval Grouping Association Admin screen.  The grid will display all users.  The first column indicates if a user is a member of a grouping.  If false, the user is not yet assigned to a group.  If true, the user is assigned to a group. Select a user row then click the Cycle through item in Hierarchy button and the approval grouping hierarchy on the right will display where that user is in the hierarchy.

+The hierarchies display in alphabetical order by approval name followed by code.  The members within the hierarchy are also in alphabetical order by name followed by email address.
+To add a user to the approval grouping hierarchy, select the user and drag it to the appropriate place in the hierarchy.

+__Finding Records with the Hierarchy__
+To find where a User is within the hierarchy, select (highlight) the row within the grid.  Then click the Cycle through item in Hierarchy button.  Each time the button is clicked, it will move through all locations in the hierarchy where the selected row is a member.

+There is also an option to Expand All and Collapse All of the hierarchy.
