-You will find this area going to Admin>CompanyAdmin>Company Type Admin.  The purpose of this area is to allow you to set up the types of companies you'll deal with and what you want to call them.  The typical ones are Manufacturer, Distributor, and Operator but there are also companies like Brokers, Retailers, etc.  We've found where one manufacturer likes to use the word Distributor while another likes to use Retailer for example.  You can build and name them anything you want.  At some point you'll load in all the companies and will link each one to one of these Company Types.+Select the following menu item to navigate to the Company Type Admin screen.

+When you set up a new Company Type, there is a column labeled Internal Company Type.  If Distributor is selected in the Internal Company Type column, the Companies set up with the corresponding Company Type Description will be available for selection on the Contract's Distributor Tab when building a deviated price contract. For example, in the picture below, the eligible companies that would display in the Contract's Distributor Tab would be companies linked to the Fdsvc Distributor, Lisa Test New Type, Retail Direct, Retail Distributor and Ship To Company Type Descriptions.

-When you set up a new Company Type you'll notice the column called Distributor(see picture directly above).  Here you pick the Company Type(if any) that you want to see available when building a deviated price contract.  So in the picture below the user set up a contract that will be deviated through the distributor and on the Distributors tab in the contract, they will see the eligible companies that are aligned with the Company Type where there's a check in the Distributor column.  So let's say they checked the tab next to the Company Type of Retailer.  Then the only eligible companies that would show up in the contract under this Distributor tab would be the companies linked to the Retailer Company Type
