+Initially, this grid will display all Distributors (both Active and Inactive).  To add, modify, or view history for  a distributor and broker relationship, click the distributor row.

+To add a new Broker, select the distributor row.  This will open the Broker Distributor Editor section below the grid.  Click Add Broker to select the broker.

+Select a broker from the list by highlighting the row and clicking Select.  Filters exist on each column to help find the broker.

+Once a broker is selected, enter in the dates for the broker distributor relationship.  Either type in the date or select the dates using the calendar controls.
+Dates have the following criteria.
+  * The start and end dates are required.
+  * There can't be a date gap between the end date of one record and the start date of another record.
+  * Date ranges cannot overlap.
+After entering all data, click Save.

+The Broker and Dates will display in the grid if there is a date range that contains the current date.

+If there is a broker distributor relationship that does NOT contain the current date, then the broker and date information will be blank in the grid.  Clicking the Edit button will display the broker history information.  The date range can be modified on the existing records as long as the dates don't create gaps or overlap other assignment records.  New assignments can also be added.  Click Save to apply the updates or Cancel to close the window without making any changes.
